It is with great pleasure and honor that I extend my heartfelt congratulaions to all the
nominees and winners of the Quality Building Award (QBA) 2024. This prestigious award,
now in its 22nd year, continues to set the benchmark for excellence in Hong Kong’s
construcion and real estate sectors. The theme for this year, "Empowering Innovaion |
Sustaining Green | Generating Wellness," perfectly encapsulates the forward-thinking and
holistic approach that is essential for the continued growth and development of our industry.

As we gather to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the past two years, we are
reminded of the critical role that innovation and sustainability play in shaping the built
environment. The projects recognized today not only exemplify outstanding design and
construction but also highlight our collective commitment to creating spaces that are
environmentally responsible, socially inclusive, and conducive to the well-being of all who
use them.

I am particularly excited about the introducion of the "Building in GBA" category, which
underscores the importance of regional collaboration and knowledge sharing. This new
category not only acknowledges exceptional building projects in the Greater Bay Area but
also fosters strong ties and mutual growth between Hong Kong and its neighboring regions.
By celebrating these achievements, we are contributing to a shared vision of prosperity and
excellence across the GBA.

To all the awardees, your dedication, hard work, and innovative spirit are truly
commendable. Your projects serve as an inspiration to us all, demonstrating what is
possible when we strive for excellence and sustainability in our endeavors.

I would also like to thank the QBA 2024 Organizing Committee and all those who have
contributed to making this event a success. Your efforts in recognizing and promoting
excellence in the industry are invaluable.

Congratulations once again to all the winners. May your achievements inspire further
innovation and excellence in the years to come.
