On behalf of Hong Kong Construction Association, we would like to extend our heartiest
congratulations to the Quality Building Award for completing 22 glorious years of
success. It is also my great honor to serve as one of the judging panel members. I am
thrilled to have the opportunity to witness the industry’s eminent quality of projects
facilitating the growth of Hong Kong’s everchanging building industry.

The award offers an excellent platform to gather professionals in the building industry
as well as interested stakeholders in the community, and it sets the standard in
addressing excellent teamwork in the design and construction of quality buildings. The
theme for this year’s QBA is “Empowering Innovation | Sustaining Green | Generating
Wellness”, which aims to encourage the industry to work on innovative and eco-friendly
solutions for the benefit of society while committing to work holistically to serve every
community to the best of its ability.

I am impressed by so many outstanding projects, embodying the wisdom and hard work
of their teams, setting benchmarks in building innovation and green development while
playing an important role in enhancing social well-being. They not only represent
remarkable achievements in the field of architecture but also embody forward-thinking
and significant contributions to the future development of society.

Last but not least, my heartfelt congratulations to the awardees, wishing them
enormous success, continue to serve and contribute to the betterment of the
construction industry and society. It is the practitioners, that is each one taking part
in it, pour in the spirit and meaning to this award. May I congratulate all of you, no
matter you are the awardees or not, on your steadfastness in building a better future
for all of us.
