On behalf of the leading professional institutions and organizations in Hong Kong's
construction and real estate industries, we are delighted to welcome all distinguished
guests to the QBA 2024 Award Presentation Ceremony. This biennial Award, with a
history of 22 years, is highly regarded as the most prestigious industry award in Hong
Kong. It recognizes the significant contributions of the construction and real estate
sectors to the community and their continuous efforts to advance Hong Kong.
Under the theme "Empowering Innovation | Sustaining Green | Generating Wellness,"
QBA 2024 aims to encourage the industry to develop innovative and eco-friendly solu-
tions for the benefit of society. We are committed to serving every community to the best of our ability. We are
thrilled to have received more than 50 entries from participating companies, all of which were of great quality. This
clearly demonstrates the agility and resilience of our industry. Tonight’s Award Presentation Ceremony is a
platform that celebrates the outstanding achievements of these entries. It also brings together top industry
players and stakeholders to discuss key issues related to the future development of Hong Kong and beyond.
In line with the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's commitment to the development of the
Greater Bay Area (GBA), QBA 2024 is proud to introduce a new award category in this edition of the Award, "Build-
ing in GBA." This category aims to recognize remarkable building projects in the GBA and foster collaboration
between Hong Kong and the region. By showcasing exceptional achievements from the GBA, we aim to promote
knowledge sharing, exchange best practices, and contribute to regional prosperity. This new category provides a
platform to celebrate excellence while strengthening the ties between Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I would like to express our gratitude to our Guest of Honour, The Honour-
able Ms Bernadette LINN Hon Ho, JP, Secretary for Development of Hong Kong SAR Government, for attending
the Presentation Ceremony and celebrating the achievements of our industry. We also extend our appreciation to
all participants for sharing their excellent projects with us, the jury panel members for their time and effort in
selecting the most deserving winners, our sponsors and supporting organizations for their generous support, and
the nine founding members of the Quality Building Award for their continuous devotion.

Lastly, we would like to thank all members of the Organizing Committee for their valuable contributions of time
and wisdom, which have ensured the successful delivery of the award and its presentation ceremony. We look
forward to witnessing more remarkable achievements in our industry in the coming years.
