Finalist Presentation to Jury Panel cum QBA2010 Conference successfully completed

The Finalist Presentation to Jury Panel cum QBA2010 Conference was held on 7 & 8 May 2010 at Wei Hing Theatre, City University.

Twenty finalist teams presented their quality projects to the Jury Panel led by Mr AU Choi Kai, JP, Director of Buildings, over the two-day conference, and the process was witnessed by an audience consisting of industry participants as well as the general public. The combining of finalist presentation to Jury Panel with the presentation to conference participants is a first in QBA history, the aim for this new arrangement is to enhance transparency as well as to promote participation.

Audience on the day commented on how they welcomed the opportunity to witness finalists showcasing their great work, the competition between such high quality projects had made the conference an exciting experience, also making Jurors’ decision a very tough one.

Vigorous judging procedures throughout the whole competition had now been completed and the results will be announced at the upcoming Award Presentation Banquet scheduled to be held on Friday, 11 June 2010 at the Conrad HK. We are privileged to have our Honorary Patron, Mrs. Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-Ngor, JP, Secretary for Development, joining us that evening.
