QBA2008 Kick-off Media Briefing, which was held on 7 August 2007(Tuesday) at Room 811, Jardine House, 1 Connaught Place, Central, Hong Kong (The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors), has been a successful start for QBA2008 with the support of our renowned and distinguished guests as well as the media.

Distinguished and renowned guests have shown their endless support to QBA2008. The Hon. C. Y. Leung, GBS, JP, the Convenor of the Non-official Members, Executive Council, HKSAR and also Honorary Patron of QBA2008 has delivered a keynote remarks at the briefing. Besides, Mr. Cheung Hau Wai, JP, Director of Buildings, HKSAR and also Chairman of Jury Panel; Dr. Ronald Lu, President of The Hong Kong Institute of Architects and also Honorary Advisor of QBA2008 and Mr. Raymond Chan, President of The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and also QBA2008 Juror, have shared their visions and expectations towards QBA2008.

Last but not least, more than 30 media including industry journals and mass media have attended the briefing which makes the briefing a greater success.
