Hong Kong Non-Residential (New Building - Government, Institution or Community)
Hoi Tat Connectivity Hub
Hoi Tat Connectivity Hub
Hoi Tat Connectivity Hub is sitting on Sham Mong
Road, Sham Shui Po, adjacent to Nam Cheong
MTR Station. The Connectivity Hub consists of
Hoi Tat Estate podium, a Social Welfare Block, a
Government Institution/ Community Block, a
Market Block and a Public Transport Interchange,
to serve the district and fulfill the daily needs of the
residents.
The hub is built on top of a reclaimed land in
Northwest Kowloon connecting the surrounding
Public Housing Cluster (Hoi Tat Estate, Hoi Ying
Estate and Hoi Lok Court).
It was planned and designed to be the focus of
activities and the heart of the new community with
major public and community facilities integrated in
the public housing development. A
comprehensive connection system of 5 public
pedestrian footbridges, including a long-span
footbridge of about 145m long, was designed to
connect it to the hinterland of Cheung Sha Wan
district.
