Dr. Johnnie Chan is the incumbent President of The Hong Kong Institute of Housing, Immediate Past Chairman of Housing Managers Registration Board and Past President of The Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies.

Dr. Chan has been appointed and involved in a number of public and voluntary services. He is a Member of Hong Kong Housing Authority Building Committee; Chairman of CLP Customer Consultative Group; Chairman of Education & Training Committee of The Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies; Adjunct Professor and Internal Examiner of The University of Hong Kong, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Urban Planning and Design; Deputy External Academic Advisor (MA in Housing Studies), Department of Public Policy of City University of Hong Kong; Member of Vocational Training Council, Security Services Training Board; Deputy Commissioner (Operations) of Auxiliary Medical Service.

Dr. Chan is a veteran professional in the real estate sector with over 40 years of services in the private sector including Hongkong Land Group, Hutchison Whampoa Property Group and Savills Group.

Ir Thomas K C Chan received his education in Hong Kong and United Kingdom. He has over 30 years of experience in the field of power and building services engineering.  He is currently a Director, Building MEP, China Region of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a leading international engineering consultancy company.

Ir Chan has also been active in various professional and academic community services.  He is currently a Senior Vice President of the HKIE and Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Building Services Department of Hong Kong Polytechnic University.  Ir Chan is a Registered Professional Engineer (Electrical and Building Services) and Fellow of IHEEM, CIBSE, IET, and HKIE.

After graduation from the Department of Architecturee, University of Hong Kong in 1986, he worked at an internationallyy renowned architecturall design consultant firm.In 1997 he established an architects practice and is currently the Director of AMQ Limited and Amasia International Architects Ltd.

With over 30 years professional experience, he has been in charge of numerous urban planningand architectural design for a diversified range of large-scale development projectsin Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and South East Asia. The vast portfolios include: regional planning for Chung Ming Island of Shanghai, regional planning for Dali precinct, master planning for an Industrial Park in Tianjin, Central Tower in Hong Kong, Landmark Tower in Beijing, SUMEC headquarter in Nanjing, Parc Oasis in Shenzhen, Li Luen New Town in Guangzhou, Sea Palace in Tsingtao, Jin Ma Development in Dalian, Today shopping precinct in Loayang and Wanda Squares in several Mainland cities.

Apart from functionality, creativity and innovation are dear to his design which advocates the harmonious contextual integration of the environmentand local cultural identity. This vision for quality design have been recognised in a number of design awards, including the PRC National Award for the Classic Habitat Design of the New Century and the Hong Kong Quality Building Award.

Moreover he actively participates and promotes the professional developmentand architectural education in Hong Kong, with abundant experience in the accreditation of professional architectural programme. He was the Honorary Secretary for The Hong Kong Institute of Architects from 2013-2014 and the Chair of Architects Registration Board HKSAR from 2014-2016.

He is the current President of The Hong Kong Institute of Architects for 2017-2018

Philip Fung is a Professional Member and Certified Facility Manager (CFM) for more than 18 years. Philip is currently the Vice President of the Hong Kong Chapter of International Facility Management Association for the chapter year of 2015-2017. Philip was also the Conference Chair of World Workplace Asia 2017 and Integrate 2016, Treasurer and Education Committee Chair for the chapter year of 2013-2015, Director of Membership for the chapter year of 2005-2006 and Board Member for the chapter year of 2004-2006. Philip has participated in the organizing committee of the biennial Quality Building Awards (QBA) on behalf of the Chapter in current year, in year 2016 and in year 2006.

Philip has over 20 years’ experience of Property and Facility Management in real estate listed companies, international investment banks and public bodies. Major accountabilities including space planning, office relocation, project management, strategic planning, change management, contract administrations, E&M planned and preventive maintenance, facilities sourcing and procurement, provision of facilities services and security services, budget control, building management, business continuity planning, catering management, data center maintenance and the administration of property leases.

Ir C. S. Ho has served as a member of the Governing Council of HKQAA for years, and has taken the role as Deputy Chairman since 2011. He is also a member of the Hong Kong Council for Testing and Certification and General Manager of The BEAM Society. He previously worked with the Hong Kong Housing Authority as Chief Building Services Engineer, heading the Building Services Section, responsible for the design and construction of BS installations at public housing estates and ancillary facilities. He is a chartered engineer, a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers and a member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), serving as a committee member of its Building Services Division Advisory Panel. He is also a barrister-at-law.

Sr Thomas HO is a Fellow of the HKIS. He served as Chairman (2011-12) of the Quantity Surveying Division, and is currently the Managing Director at TLS & Associates Ltd. He has been involved in building and infrastructure works for many years, also is an accredited mediator, overseeing several construction and financial dispute cases. In addition to his service with the HKIS, Sr HO holds a number of roles at various organizations in the surveying industry and helps to nurture juniors of the profession by providing mentoring to younger leaders in the industry.

Mr Eddie Lam is the Chairman & Executive Director of Thelloy Development Group Limited. Mr Lam has over 40 years of experience and has very strong connections in the construction industry.  He is a Registered Professional Surveyor (Quantity Surveying).  He is very supportive to the developments in the construction industry and is also actively involved in community services to reciprocate the industry.  He is a current member of the Land and Development Advisory Committee, Planning Subcommittee, Chairman of VTC Building and Civil Engineering Training Board, the First Vice President of the Hong Kong Construction Association, the Chairman of Hong Kong Kwong Yuet Tong, the Immediate President of HKICM and Director of the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency to name a few.  Eddie holds a Master Degree in Business Administration (Executive) and another in Fire Engineering and Safety.

Mr. LAM Sair Ling, Adjunct Associate Professor, Architectural Conservation Programme, Faculty of Architecture at HKU, is the first local Architect/Surveyor specialised in conservation of heritage structures and buildings. He was, before retirement, a Senior Maintenance Surveyor in the Property Services Branch of the Architectural Services Department looking after the conservation and maintenance of all the historical buildings under the portfolio of the Government. He has received a numbers of awards in conservation and revitalisation of historic buildings,namely: HKIA Presidents Prize for the restoration of Tai Fu Tai in 1989 and Kun Ting Study Hall in 1991 IGA Expo for the Kowloon Walled City Park in 1993, ; UNESCO Asian Pacific Awards in Heritage Conservation for the restoration of King Law Study Hall in 2001, Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in 2003, and the St Joseph Chapel in Yim Tin Tsai in 2005. Mr. Lam has also been a contributor of the bookChinese 'Hundred Years Architecture', editor for 'Home in Guizhou', 'Chinese Traditional Dwellings and the Culture of Modern Architecture', 'the History, Art and Architecture of the Lu Pan Temple', etc.

Born and educated in Hong Kong. Mrs. Sylvia Lam is an architect by profession, and graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Hong Kong in 1984, before joining the Architectural Services Department. She is now the Director of the Department, with work portfolio including the development, construction and maintenance of government buildings and facilities together with the provision of related technical advisory services.

In the past 30 years of service in the Department, Mrs Lam has been involved in a varieties of public projects including Central Government Offices and Legislative Council Building at Tamar, Revitalizing Kam Tong Hall into Dr. Sun Yat-sen Museum, the Liantang/ Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point and associated Facilities, Trade and Industry Tower and Hong Kong Children’s Hospital. Mrs Lam has also participated actively in the work of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects, and is currently a member of the Board of External Affairs.

Ir Alfred W H SIT is Deputy Director of the Electrical & Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) of the HKSAR Government. EMSD, being a government department, plays a dual role in Hong Kong. Firstly, it acts as a law enforcement department with regard to electricity, gas, railway, lift and escalator safety, and a number of related E&M safety areas. Its second role is to provide E&M engineering solutions and services to other government departments and public sector organizations in Hong Kong. EMSD is also charged with supporting government initiatives in promoting energy efficiency and conservation in Hong Kong.

Ir Sit has been working in the electrical and mechanical engineering field for more than 30 years. He is active in the activities of the learned societies. He has served as the President of the Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management, the Chairman of the Biomedical Division and the Honorary Secretary of the Nuclear Division of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers. Ir Sit has also been serving at the judge panels of various competitions and awards such as the Hong Kong Awards for Industries – Equipment and Machinery Design organized by The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong and the Excellence in Facility Management Award organized by The Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management.

Sr Tang is a multi-disciplinary professional with 20 years of experience in the construction and project management. He set up Adwise Building Consultancy Limited in 2012 providing property related consultancy and dispute resolution services.

Currently, He is the President of The Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers and Vice Chairman of Hong Kong Lo Pan Kwong Yuet Tong.  Over the years, he has been actively serving the community and construction industry by participating different Boards and Committees. He is the member of Buildings Appeal Tribunal Panel, member of Construction Workers Registration Appeal Board Panel, member of Building and Civil Engineering Training Board of Vocational Training Council, member of Immigration Tribunal, member of Obscene and Indecent Articles Panel of Adjudicators, and observer of Independent Police Complaints Council. 

In the past, Cr Tang was the President of Hong Kong Mediation Centre and Director of Joint Mediation Helpline Office.  He was the member of Organizing Committee of Quality Building Award 2012, 2014 and 2016, and was elected as Chairman of Jury Sub-Committee of Quality Building Award 2016.
